Habeck Trucking Inc is not only about moving freight. As a member of a small South Dakota community we also believe in being involved. This involvement not only provides an avenue to help the local area but more importantly builds moral and community spirit.
Having our offices located only 30 miles from Sturgis SD and the infamous “STURGIS BIKE RALLY” and our own enjoyment of riding, it seems only fitting that we would sponsor an event that would highlight some of the best roads in the area for a day of motorcycling. With the objective of a fun day of riding, and the benefit of providing a fund raising event the first annual “Habeck Hooligans’ Poker Run” was formed.
On August 2nd motorcycles gathered at the Habeck shop to launch off the day. Many poker hands were distributed to riders and after miles of beautiful highway, a fun day was had by all and in the end a contribution was made to the Geis Family Memorial Fund.
